In our busy lives we often forget how powerful slowing down and taking inventory of what’s right in front of us can be. The Linger Movement was born from the idea that in everyday moments, regardless of size, it’s possible to find joy, wonder, and awe. Jessie Carr

An endless case of wanderlust has taken Jessie around the world to over fifty countries and counting, much of it solo. She’s an accomplished athlete competing over the years on both national and international stages. As a writer, speaker, and photographer she uses words and images to tell stories and share her experiences, past and present, with the world.

After twelve years of working as a leader at Google in operations, customer service, finance, and project management she took a leap of faith and walked away. She left the comfort, money, and employer that defined her life and sought to experience the world firsthand - not from behind a computer screen or on small trips and vacation days.

Today she brings together her expansive knowledge, experiences, and skill as a Certified Professional Coach, Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra facilitator, and Human Design geek to revolutionize the way people live and experience their everyday.

It begins with Pause.

Pause is everything from a brief moment of noticing your breath or catching yourself before reacting to deep rest, purposeful breaks and days off, and everything in between.

Pause is a gateway.

All transformation - whether it’s a small or massive shift - begins with Pause.

Jessie’s passionate about inspiring and teaching people how to embrace Pause and utilize a multitude of tools to not only transform the way they experience and interact with everyday life but also empower them to design their life.
